My Thought about this book(Spoilers Free)
The series is a combination of 5 short novellas but I consider it as a single book. Because each book ended up with a Cliffhanger.
First I gave the overall review and then I gave the review of an individual book.
Plot – 4.5/5
The story was about the revenge of a girl named Lana Myers. She and her family went through a horriable past. The plot was not new but how it built up & delivered with details which was amazing. The plot had a perfect amount of love story, emotion, smut, dark and twisted storyline.
Writing Style – 4/5
I can say it was well written. Even though every book was a novella lenth but the last one was a little draged out for me. But I never read something like that before. So the writting was engaging me with it.
Romance & Emotion – 3.5/5
What happend in the past with Lana which made her emotionless. She couldn’t feel the emotion bounding with anyone before Logan. So yes there was a strong connection between them. There were not too many intimate scenes but enough for the story.
Characters – 4/5
Lana Myers was everything for me. Some books portray a strong female character but did not show us how. In this book describe so well how physically strong she was.
I did like Logan’s character throughout the book except the time when he learned about the truth. I could understand why but he could handle that more maturely as an FBI agent. But I was glad that he corrected his mistake.
I also love Jake and Hadley’s characters. Their characters created a great impact in the story. The way Jake supported Lana like her older brother made me emotional.
Hadley supports both Lana and Logan which were also commentable.
Enjoyment – 4/5
There were not many books which made me emotional but this series was one of them. I enjoyed and loved it a little too much because of the writing and Lana’s character.
Ending/Epilogue – 3/5
I did like the ending but not love it. But with the plot that ending was good.
Cover – 2.5/5
I love the cover of the combine series but the individual cover is not my test except the last one.

Book 1: The Risk

This was the first book of the series where we introduced Lana Myers who was a serial killer and Logan Bennet who was a FBI Profiler and Investigating about serial killers. This was the start of their love story.
Book 2: Sidetracked
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This one got my attention. The main focus on this was a Boogeymen and Hadley’s stepfather who was a child abuser.There was a scene where Logan was afraid about Lana’s safety because Boogeymen was after her. In the meantime, she planned and killed another man who abused & killed so many little children.
Book 3: Scarlet Angel
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Sometimes I felt bad for Logan because he was so much worried about Lana but he was clueless about how strong or who she was. Every book made me curious about the next one which I enjoyed the most. In the series, this one was my favorite.
Book 4: All the lies
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This one was so interesting from the beginning to end.
Book 5: Paint it all red
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I finished it in one sitting because I could not wait for the end any longer.
I was shocked to learn about the original killer ( the person who caused everything).

I absolutely love this series & recommend reading it.
Please read it in order otherwise you don’t understand.
